The Colgate Oral Health Month initiative, in partnership with the British Dental Association is now in its sixth year. It is a leading UK campaign running for the month of September, helping to establish and promote improved oral health habits.
The theme for 2007 is "Healthy Teeth require Healthy Gums" focusing on raising the awareness of the importance of good gum health.
To encourage good gum health, Colgate will be running activities in dental practices, major retailers and in the community, all supported by a TV campaign. All communications will focus around the 3 top tips to gum health.
To help prevent gum disease and to keep your gums healthy, follow these simple steps:
- Brush your teeth twice a day using an appropriate toothpaste to help remove plaque.
- Pay particular attention to where the tooth meets the gum.
- Clean between the teeth using floss or interdental brushes.
As part of the campaign Educational materials, product samples and oral health advice will be available through many channels. Please click on the links opposite for further information.
